Service: conscription, contract, education and rights

Choose the question you need to settle. Each section gives the first steps, the conditions that matter and the way through to an official source.

1

Military registration and conscription

Have you received a notice, do you need to clarify your registration data, or do you want to understand a conscription matter? Start by checking your own data through the official state service and the body responsible for defence affairs. News about a campaign does not confirm your individual status.

What to check on conscription matters

2

Deferment and exemption

These are two different decisions. Before applying, you need to understand which ground applies to your situation and which documents confirm it. A general list of grounds on a website does not replace a review of the documents.

3

Rights and applications

Has a decision not been carried out, are you being obstructed in getting help, or is an official review needed? Write down what happened and choose the channel that matches the substance of the problem. This section explains the difference between an agency application, a human-rights route and contacting the military prosecutor's office.

Choosing how to apply

4

Military education

Start with the level of education and the institution you need. Then compare the requirements and deadlines of the specific admission campaign: the terms of one institution do not extend to the others.

5

Contract service

Clarify the agency and the position, then establish the requirements, the selection stages and where documents are submitted. A general description of service is not an offer of employment.

6

If the matter involves danger to life

If a condition worsens sharply or there is an injury, medical help comes first: 103 or 112. An application about a possible offence must not delay treatment.

7

Why the agency matters

The official resources and internal procedures of the Armed Forces, the National Guard and the Border Service are separate. Before submitting documents, check which organisation handles your particular matter.

8

What is important to keep in mind

Rules depend on the type of service and the agency. The procedure described for the Armed Forces does not always apply to other troops and formations.
