About QAZ.ARMY

An open reference: only confirmable sources, no non-public information and no replacement for individual decisions.

1

Who the reference works for

For those serving, those preparing for conscription, those entering a contract or choosing a military education. For parents and relatives who need to understand a course of action. For readers and researchers who need open context without non-public information.

We build materials around a person's question: what is happening, where to start and where to apply. Where the answer depends on the agency, the name of the agency matters.

2

Which organisations the project covers

The thematic coverage includes the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Border Service and the publicly described formations of the National Security Committee, the State Security Service and civil-defence military units. The military police and the military prosecutor's office are considered in connection with official application routes.

This is a list of the project's topics, not a statement that the rules are the same for all organisations or that a complete reference is ready for each of them. In specific material we indicate which agency the described procedure relates to.

3

Where the information comes from

The basis is laws, regulatory acts, state services and official publications. Editorial explanation is separate from the text of a source: a plain wording does not change the meaning of a rule and does not replace a decision of a competent body.

An important statement must have a verifiable basis. If a source does not allow a conclusion to be drawn, we do not fill the gap with an assumption.

4

What is not here

We do not accept applications for service, complaints or medical documents; we do not search for service members and we have no access to unit information. We do not determine a diagnosis, a fitness category, a right to leave service or to receive a payment.

QAZ.ARMY's public pages contain no non-public information about locations, routes, readiness, numbers, personnel or vulnerabilities. Documentary footage illustrates a subject; it is not evidence of a specific person's current situation.

5

Russian, Kazakh and English versions

The project uses Russian, Kazakh and English. The available version can be selected in the language switcher. A translation serves to read the reference and does not replace the official text of a document.

Automated assistance was used in preparing the translations; they must not be regarded as independently certified translations. A meaning inaccuracy you notice can be reported to the editorial team.

6

How to correct an error

Report the page address, the inaccurate sentence and the link to the official source. Do not include personal, medical or service documents.
